The restaurant is cozy with lots of windows. Their crab rangoon is perfect and the rare beef pho is incredible as always
Whoa... a 'new-to-me' dish from here, Vietnamese beef stew. (Bo Kho) "Every bite of our tendered beef will bring you the lingering scent of basil, carrots, lemongrass, star anise, ginger and light cinnamon. Served with a choice of rice noodles." I was surprised at the hint of sweetness and savoriness of the broth. So good! Food, Service, Ambiance = 5
I'm gonna give this place 4 stars. I am a recent transplant to Nebraska from the west coast. I love Pho and have been searching for a decent bowl since moving here. I have got to say, as Pho goes, Omaha tends to fall short. I kept hearing how great the Pho is here at Saigon. I tried it and admit it is good compared to the others around town that I have tried so far, yet it still falls a little short as well. Don't get me wrong, the place is amazing. The other food I saw and had was fantastic. The pork spring roll was outstanding. The service was superb!! I had a decent meal, and found the place to do a steady dine in and take out business. Those are all great signs of a good restaurant. However, my search goes on for the perfect bowl of Pho here in Omaha (Remember people, it's all in the broth)
Got to tell you Saigon is so good! Just keeps getting better. Service is always friendly. Of coarse the Pho is delicious. The Vietnamese spring rolls are crazy delicious. But I got to tell you the grilled lemongrass chicken is OUTSTANDING! Healthy and full of flavor! Go check it out
Love this place! Service is always great. There was almost no wait to be seated and served but there seemed to be a longer wait time for the many to-go orders. We have returned 3 times now and there seems to be the same main two servers that run the show here and they are so friendly and willing to create a yummy meal experience based on your flavor preference. This has been some of the best pho in omaha! Favors were incredible. Pork clay pot was a more sweet dish that reminded me of like an orange chicken/sweet and sour chicken but the pork was savory and yummy paired with the rice.
Excellent food and awesome service! My favorite place for Pho and Thai ice coffee. I could eat here every day!
I would certainly give six stars if it was possible but since Saigon closed it's sister's store on 14th and Farnam, I guess five stars will have to do Omaha what are you waiting for? This is one of the greatest restaurants for both lunch and dinner that you can experience in town if you're in the mood for a refreshing and healthy bowl of soup, or just some top tier Vietnamese cuisine you cannot go wrong! Not only is the food fantastic, but the staff is second to none thank you Saigon restaurant for all of your efforts. You have a customer forever!!
